Christmas in Cozumel
Posted on December 31, 2007
Lindsay and I traveled down to Cozumel, Mexico to meet up with her family for Christmas. I haven’t taken a relaxing vacation in years and it was so nice. We lounged by the pool, lounged by the beach, I read a 500 page book, the first in a trilogy that I couldn’t put down (A Voice in the Wind), and I went scuba diving for the first time. Such a fun trip and wanted to share some photos:
Here’s one of our many insane sunsets:

Check these out:

If you want to check it out, I was featured on Thelandsalmon.com as their choice artist for a week in photos. I’m honored and you should check it out. I have a bunch of photos up from two series I have been shooting - storefront windows and more urban abstract photos. Let me know what you think….

Baby Kai

So sometimes you run across some cute babies and then sometimes you run across some CUTE babies. Little Kai is CUTE. Check out those big eyes!

I think this was his first trip to the beach, so we strolled around shooting photos as he stared at all of his new surroundings. I love this shot of Dad carrying his little boy…

Getting a lift from Mom. Not a bad deal..

The Bachelor Party
Posted on December 13, 2007
So one of my best friends is getting married this January and last weekend, we traveled up above Santa Barbara to do some camping and surfing. It was such an amazing trip and a killer way to do a bachelor party. You get a crew of your closest friends, camp where no one else is around, play all sorts of boce ball and horse shoes then surf your brains out. It was freezing at night with gale force winds but check out these sunsets we got!
Night #1

The Crew (1st part of it at least)

Some extreme boce

And night #2

The Olson Family
Posted on December 9, 2007
We’re not talking the Olson twins but pretty close. These are two cute little kids. So happy and smiley and two brothers that get along so well. I’ve gotten lucky with the kids I shoot. Not only are they cute, but almost all are a blast to shoot…We grabbed some photos at a little park and then headed down to the beach. Here are a few favorites from the day…
Remember when you were a kid and anything could have the time of your life throwing leaves around. Nothing was more fun in this moment!

The Pliha Twins

These boys cracked me up during our whole shoot. They loved the camera and could barely get a shot of them without making faces at me…We did get some cute ones though. Here they are:

How is this face!

We went upstairs to play with their toys and I convinced Aiden sit down and start reading. How cute are they reading together!

And they they whipped out their guitars and started jamming for me..I love this shot.

The boys were little monkeys over at the park. Both parents had to keep a good eye out because as soon as they looked away, one of the kids was upside down or jumping off something. This is a fun shot…

Greg and Tara’s Wedding ::: South Shores Church
Posted on December 3, 2007
I was lucky enough to shoot the wedding of two of my good friends. Greg was actually my roommate two different occasions and have known Tara just as long. Their ceremony was at South Shores Church and absolutelygorgeous. The reception was at the Pavilion on the Peninsula and a blast. Such a fun crowd and an amazing looking bride and groom. Tami Jacobson coordinated the wedding and did a marvelous job. I put together a slideshow for you all to see….let me know what you think.
And here’s the Slideshow. Just click on the center:
