San Fran City Shots on Film
Posted on June 28, 2008
I just picked up these two rolls of 120 I shot in San Fancisco and had to post a couple before I jet off to Nick and Jessica’s wedding today. I shot one roll black and white, the other color. I can’t decide which I like better.
I was just going to post a couple but love so many of these. Let me know what you think:

1 Year Anniversay in San Francisco!!
Posted on June 26, 2008
The 24th of June was our 1 year wedding anniversary and as a present to Lindsay, I surprised her with a trip to San Fran. She had no idea where we were going until we got to the airport. It was pretty awesome. I actually proposed to her in San Fran New Year’s Day under the Golden Gate Bridge so the trip had some sentimental value as well. We walked everywhere and then we wined and dined in the evening. A perfect get away! Here are some photos from the trip!
Here’s a shot of Lindsay walking down the stairs of our awesome hotel.
I like this shot of Lindsay in an old chair we found on the street
Then out of no where, this ninja (drunk at 10am) jumped out of a bar and tried to attack us. Then he wanted us to join him. I fought him off with my camera.

Jessica and Nick’s Engagement
Posted on June 18, 2008
I have the pleasure of shooting Jessica and Nick’s wedding in less than two weeks and we managed to squeeze in this shoot yesterday between all of our busy schedules. This location wasn’t our original idea but ended up coming out amazing!
We found a cigar shop and sat down for a smoke (they did at least). I absolutely love this first shot of Jessica’s ring.
Is this not the cutest dog in the world? She got tons of attention on this shoot.

And then we made it down to the beach for some portraits. The day was beautiful.

Cirque du Shea
Posted on June 16, 2008
On Saturday, I had the pleasure of shooting the Cirque du Shea Event put on by The J.F Shea Therapeutic Riding Center at the Montage Resort in Laguna. The event was a fundraiser which raised $700,000 to benefit The J.F Shea Therapeutic Riding Center: dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities through therapeutic horse-related programs.
Corporate Diversions coordinates, designs and produces the event which was incredible. Michele Holmen is the designer and is incredibly talented. The theme this year was Cirque du Soleil (aka Cirque du Shea).
The event starts with a cocktail reception and silent auction with live performers, then everyone moves into the ballroom for dinner, live auction and entertainment.
Here are a couple photos from the day.

Ashley and Elisha’s Wedding
Posted on June 10, 2008
On Saturday, Lindsay and I had the pleasure of shooting Ashley and Elisha’s wedding. The couple is so sweet, they looked great, and enjoyed themselves on their big day. This is just a sneak peek at a couple photos….

Ashley did all the flowers for the whole wedding. Amazing!

Monika and Nicholas
Posted on June 2, 2008
On Saturday, the lovely Jessica Claire invited both me and Mark Brooke (who is awesome!) to photograph the wedding of an amazing couple. Monika and Nicholas met while living in New York (and Jessica shot some of the coolest engagement photos I’ve seen of this couple in New York) and the decided to have their wedding in Santa Monica since they’re both from California.
They were so fun, so in love, both looked stunning and we were there to capture all the moments of the day. Here are some of the moments I captured!
And the first dance was probably the best I have EVER seen. It looked like something out of the TV show Dancing With the Stars. It was insane!! They rocked the house.
