Phil and Mia - Engaged!

Dr. Gendreau is an old college roommate of mine back in my USC days. I’m shooting their wedding in two weekends and can’t wait. We made a trip up to LA to capture some moments while they’re engaged. Phil is such a great guy and Mia is just the sweetest! Here are a few photos from that day.

Jessica and Nick’s Engagement

I have the pleasure of shooting Jessica and Nick’s wedding in less than two weeks and we managed to squeeze in this shoot yesterday between all of our busy schedules. This location wasn’t our original idea but ended up coming out amazing!
We found a cigar shop and sat down for a smoke (they did at least). I absolutely love this first shot of Jessica’s ring.

Is this not the cutest dog in the world? She got tons of attention on this shoot.

And then we made it down to the beach for some portraits. The day was beautiful.

Bryan and Michelle

Lindsay and I made the drive up to lovely San Marino with Bryan and Michelle yesterday to capture a look that they wanted. This time of year is so pretty in that area. All the streets are lined with huge, old trees and the houses have some characteristic to them vs. all the track houses in Orange County. The Jacaranda trees were in full bloom and there were entire streets lined with these purple flowered trees. Amazing. So we dared the weather on Saturday hoping for something with some mood. We ended up with some dark skies, got wet ourselves, used our umbrellas and had a little sun peek through at the end of the day. Here’s what was captured:

This was such a great time. To begin, Ashley surprised Elisha with this shoot. He showed up thinking he was going on a hot date! They are getting married in early June and Elisha had talked to Ashley about wanting to get some engagement photos but never had the time to schedule. I’m so much more excited to shoot their wedding after this session. They interact so well, I barely had to direct. We had a blast. Nikki and Trev

Over the weekend, Lindsay and I got to spend the afternoon with Nikki and Trevor in the Crystal Cove area. We’re shooting their wedding in July and look forward to it! I don’t think they realized what they were getting into for this shoot. We ended up hiking, climbing, going into restricted areas and all sorts of fun. They’re such a fun couple and we came away with some great shots! Here they are.

So Lindsay and I strolled around with Doug and Courtney on Saturday and had the best time. They were laughing the entire shoot and I got so excited to shoot their wedding this summer.
